How do I get started?
Getting started depends on the type of services being requested and the individual’seligibility.
For students seeking Pre-Employment Transition Services (Pre-ETS), a vocational rehabilitation case is not required. Students who are considered Potentially Eligible (PE)may receive certain Pre-ETS services without opening a Vocational Rehabilitation (VR)case through the Pennsylvania Office of Vocational Rehabilitation (OVR).
Students and families are encouraged to contact Elite2Serve Community Transitional Services to discuss available services and determine the most appropriate next steps.We can help guide families through the referral process, explain service options, andassist with identifying available resources.
For students interested in additional Vocational Rehabilitation services beyond Pre-ETS,an application with OVR may be required. Once connected with OVR, individuals workwith an OVR counselor to identify employment goals and determine appropriateservices.
Many student referrals originate through school districts, transition coordinators, guidance counselors, special education teams, and community partners.
